The Project targets 3 Pilot Local Government Areas in Anambra State, (Nnewi South, Idemili South and Aguata LGAs) there are three Communities from these respective LGs making it (12) communities and (2) PHCs from each of these Communities summing up to (21) PHCs in these Pilot LGA.

The Project partners with a Community Movement Known as Community Empowerment Network (COMEN) that Monitor and follow-up with the Development Processes in their various Communities, they carry out independent Advocacies and Engagement to Concerned stakeholders, if need be, it is therefore important to partner with this movement to enable us get to the heart of the issues in the PHCs and how to help improve the service deliveries in the PHCs.
For the past 3 years of this program, we have carried facility assessment of the PHCs in these targeted PHCs and have used it as a tool to sit on the decision making table of the Anambra state Government to seek improvement for these Health centers that gives hope to our local communities members by providing safe water and clean environment in these centers, because we believe that if water is provided and the facilities are clean and sanitized it will restore the confidence of the community members to access the facilities again.
With the continuous engagement (both social media and offline), advocacies and partnerships with the community, local and state Governing bodies that make decisions on PHC matter we have recorded results, Improvement and shifts in the activities of the PHC programs especially in the areas of reconstruction of some of the dilapidated PHCs and procurement od some equipment needed in the PHCs.

More improvements are expected especially in the health budget and the use of the funds allocated to the PHC program, we wish to use this window to ensure transparency and accountability of the funds allocated to the PHCs of all the community in the state.
