COVID-19 caused a lot of people to lose their jobs and businesses where shut down because of the protocols put in place to cub the spread of the virus, this translated into poverty and hunger in our communities, people had little or no food to eat, considering this as a factor that can result to high crime right in our communities, we introduced a program known as COVID-19 Rescue mission.
This program targeted poor village people we had little or no food, clothes and who needed financial assistance to procure the hand sanitizers and face masks. We share food items, money, face masks, hand sanitizers and clothing items. We achieved huge success through our partnership with philanthropists who believed in our credibility and accountability and also the Catholic Bishop Nnewi Diocese.
