From the Inception of JDPC Nnewi in the Catholic Diocese of Nnewi we have continuously carried out election education as a way of creating awareness for citizens to join in the election process in Nigeria. This program will help the convince the community members to register and collect their permanent voters cards (PVC) and come out to vote on election day, we have found this as important because the data for election and voting participations in Anambra State shows that voter apathy in Anambra state is very high, so our effort to use all media to create election awareness so that our people can participate in the process of election becomes very important.
We equally observe elections on the election day, so keep record of the elections activity and also so note areas of vote violence and election malpractice for reference purposes.
