This Project was carried out in partnership with Connected Development (CODE). The goal of the project is to equip the young people with the skills of Advocacy and engagement so that they can add their voice to the Development of their various communities.
The project targeted two pilot LGAs and two Communities (Utuh Community in Nnewi South LGA and Ojoto Communities in Idemili LGA) these young people gathered together to bring up ideas and strategies the can help in the development the PHCs Service Delivery in their communities, during the activities they had the opportunity to carry out independent advocacy to their various traditional rulers and town union bodies using the skills they gained from the training we did for them, this engagement helped to buff up their relationship and confidence to bring up ideas to the decision making bodies when the time comes.
