Voice to the People (V2P) project is a that advocates for Good Governance while it supports communities in Anambra State to take ownership of their own development by driving accountability among their leaders, raising their voices to demand the rights and services as well as taking part in decision making process that affect their lives. V2P encourages greater dialogue between the government and the led (citizens) and also supports citizens driven developments.
Also, V2P project promotes increased participation and representation of women and adolescent girls in informal and formal decision making in Nigeria. V2P aims at tackling the high levels of poverty in Anambra State by supporting the citizens to influence the provision pf improved services.
The projects used several approaches like; Development of Charters of Demand, Power and Gender analysis, the use of Community Grassroot movements (community Empowerment Network [COMEN], Community based Monitors [CBMs] etc), the use of Community existing structure, knowledge sharing, Media campaign strategy.
